Accessibility Statement

We want every darts player to be able to find a tournament, register, check in and follow results, whatever assistive technology they use.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as a working target. This is a statement of intent and ongoing effort, not a certification of full conformance.

• Build pages with semantic HTML and a single, meaningful heading structure.
• Label interactive controls, including icon-only buttons, so screen readers announce them.
• Support keyboard navigation with visible focus styles.
• Design the dark interface with contrast in mind for text and key status indicators.
• Use a responsive layout that works at mobile widths and when text is enlarged.
• Avoid conveying critical information by colour alone; status is also carried in text.

The platform is under active development and has not yet been through an independent accessibility audit. Areas we know need further work include complex administrative tables, some dialog and multi-step flows, live-updating tournament data, and consistent contrast on secondary and decorative elements.

Content or scoring displays provided by third-party equipment or services may not meet the same standard, and we do not control them.

If something on Project Oche is difficult or impossible to use, email info@projectoche.com with the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days and to tell you what we can do and by when. Where a fix will take time, we will offer an alternative way to complete the task.

This statement is reviewed as the platform develops, and will be updated after our first formal accessibility assessment.
