Account & Acceptable Use Policy

You must be at least 18 years old. Accounts held by anyone below that age will be closed.

You must provide accurate registration information, including a display name and country, and keep it up to date. Impersonating another person, a well-known player or a Project Oche administrator is not allowed.

One person, one account. You may not run additional accounts to enter the same tournament, to sit in a Division below your ability, or to evade a restriction.

Keep your password confidential and use a password you do not reuse elsewhere. Do not share access to your account with anyone, including friends, coaches or teammates.

Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We may temporarily restrict an account to protect it while we investigate.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, unless it results from a failure on our side.

You must not:

• share, sell, transfer or buy accounts, or play on someone else's behalf;
• harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against other players, administrators or staff;
• submit false information, false disputes or fraudulent registration or prize claims;
• cheat, manipulate scoring or collude, as set out in the Fair Play & Anti-Cheating Policy;
• use bots, scripts or other automation to interact with the Platform in a way that distorts registration, waitlists or tournaments;
• scrape or bulk-extract data in a way that burdens the service or exposes other players' information;
• attempt to bypass authentication, authorisation or rate limiting, or access accounts, APIs or database records you are not entitled to access;
• interfere with a live tournament, or with another player's ability to take part;
• upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the availability of the Platform.

We welcome good-faith security reports. If you find a vulnerability, email info@projectoche.com with enough detail for us to reproduce it, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before disclosing it publicly.

Good-faith reporting is not treated the same as malicious exploitation. Do not access, modify or exfiltrate other users' data, do not degrade the service, and do not use a finding for competitive or financial gain. Where those limits are respected, we will not pursue action against you for the research itself.

Where this policy is breached we may issue a warning, restrict specific features, remove a tournament entry, suspend the account temporarily, withhold a prize pending investigation, or permanently ban the account in serious or repeated cases.

Sanctions are proportionate to the conduct and the evidence. We will tell you what has been decided and why, unless doing so would compromise an investigation or a legal obligation.

Suspension does not automatically refund tournament registrations; the Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy applies.

You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing info@projectoche.com. Registrations for tournaments that have already started are not automatically cancelled.

We keep the records we are required to keep for legal, accounting, security and dispute-handling purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy. Legal acceptance records are kept as evidence of the terms you agreed to.

If you think a restriction, suspension or ban is wrong, email info@projectoche.com within 14 days with your account details and your reasons. The Complaints & Disputes Policy sets out how the review is handled.
