1.What this covers

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies such as local storage and session storage work in the same way for the purposes of this policy, and we treat them the same.

This policy explains what Project Oche stores on your device and why.

2.What we currently use

Project Oche currently uses strictly necessary cookies and storage only. These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off in our systems.

  • Authentication and session — keeps you signed in, holds your session and refresh tokens, and lets protected pages such as your dashboard load. Stored by our authentication provider under your browser's storage for this site. Typically persists until you sign out or the session expires.
  • Security — supports request authentication and abuse protection, including rate limiting and detection of unusual activity.
  • Essential preferences — remembers basic interface state needed to present the site correctly.

Because these are strictly necessary for a service you have requested, they do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules.

3.What we do not use

We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising or tracking cookies, cross-site profiling, social media tracking pixels, or third-party marketing tags.

We do not sell or share device or browsing data with advertising networks.

4.If we add analytics later

If we introduce analytics or any other non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent before it is set, using a consent banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies with equal ease and change your choice later.

Rejecting non-essential cookies will never stop you from taking part in tournaments. This page and the Privacy Policy will be updated at the same time, with the categories, purposes and retention periods listed.

5.Controlling cookies in your browser

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using your account, because the session cannot be maintained.

Clearing site storage signs you out of Project Oche on that device.
