Prize & Payout Policy

Real-money payouts are not yet enabled and Project Oche does not currently collect payout details or identity documentation. The prize and payout process described here applies once real-money tournaments and a production payout provider are enabled. Before the first real-money tournament, Project Oche will publish the applicable payout method, verification requirements and expected processing times.

Project Oche does not operate a wallet, stored balance, vault or player funds account. Prize records and payout status shown in your account are entitlement and status records, not money held on your behalf.

The rest of this policy describes how prizes are recorded today and how payouts will operate once a production payout provider is enabled.

Every paid tournament publishes its prize structure on the tournament page before registration closes, and it is visible before you register.

Prizes are allocated against objectively defined darts achievements — for example final placement, highest checkout or most 180s — as configured for that tournament. There is no random allocation and no draw element.

Once a tournament is open for registration, its published prize structure is locked and will not be changed for players who have already registered.

Prizes are funded from the Tournament Entry Amounts collected for that tournament. The Platform Fee is a separate charge and does not form part of the prize structure.

To be eligible for a prize you must have been validly registered, have taken part under the Tournament Rules, be at least 18, hold an account in good standing, and comply with the Fair Play & Anti-Cheating Policy.

Prizes are personal to the player who earned them. They cannot be assigned or sold to another person.

Prizes attach to the Final Result, which is reached through one lifecycle:

• The tournament completes and Provisional Results are published.
• A 48-hour Review Period begins at the moment the Provisional Results are published.
• Tournament and scoring disputes affecting those results must normally be filed within 48 hours after the Provisional Results are published.
• Administrators review disputes filed in time and any evidence submitted.
• After the Review Period expires and the relevant disputes are resolved, an administrator finalises the results.
• The Final Result stands, and prizes recorded against it can become eligible for payout processing.

Finalisation is performed by an administrator; the Platform does not currently finalise results automatically when the Review Period expires.

Before a real-money prize is released we may verify:

• the tournament result and the underlying scoring records;
• your identity and age;
• your eligibility for the Division you competed in;
• fair-play compliance for the tournament concerned;
• the payout information you have provided.

Payouts will ordinarily be made to the verified winner. We do not pay prizes to unrelated third-party accounts or to nominated alternative recipients. Identity, age and payout verification requirements will be published before real-money payouts are enabled, and the payout provider may run its own compliance checks.

Each prize payout carries one of the statuses used by the Platform:

• Pending — the prize is recorded against a result and is queued for review. Verification of the result, eligibility and payout information happens while a payout is Pending.
• Approved — the payout has been authorised for processing.
• Processing — the payout has been submitted to the payout provider.
• Paid — the provider has confirmed the payout was sent.
• Held — the payout is paused pending a dispute, investigation or verification step. A hold is a precaution, not a finding of wrongdoing.
• Failed — the payout could not be completed and needs to be corrected and re-submitted.

Review of a result, of eligibility or of payout information is a business process that happens while a payout is Pending or Held; it is not a separate status.

You can see the current status of a prize recorded to you in your account.

Project Oche will process approved, undisputed payouts promptly after results become final.

We do not publish a specific processing-time commitment yet: a production payout provider has not been selected, so we cannot verify what we could consistently meet. Expected processing times will be published before the first real-money tournament.

Final settlement timing will always depend in part on the payout provider and the receiving bank. Delays can occur because of identity verification, provider checks, a fraud or security investigation, an open dispute, incorrect payout information, regulatory requirements or a technical outage. Where a payout is delayed we will tell you why.

• A payout may be Held while a dispute, fair-play investigation or verification step is open. A hold is a precaution, not a finding of wrongdoing.
• If a payout fails because of incorrect or incomplete payout information, we will ask you to correct it and re-submit.
• Where a prize is paid in error, for example following a corrected result or a discovered rule breach, we may reverse or recover the amount.
• Prizes connected to conduct that breaches the Fair Play & Anti-Cheating Policy may be withheld or forfeited.

If a future real-money prize cannot be paid because required payout or verification information is missing, Project Oche will make reasonable attempts to contact the player using the email address on the account.

Any formal unclaimed-prize period or treatment will be published before real-money tournaments are enabled. Project Oche does not claim any automatic right to acquire or forfeit an unpaid prize in the meantime.

Prizes are stated in the currency shown on the tournament page, ordinarily euro. Where a bank converts a future payout to another currency, the exchange rate and any conversion charge are set by that bank or provider, not by us.

Players remain responsible for any personal tax obligations that apply to them, except where Project Oche is legally required to withhold, report or remit an amount.
